Proverbs 18

Our words are so very important.

Be quick to listen and slow to speak today.

Think before you speak. Choose your words with care and thoughtfulness. Make it a habit to pause for three seconds before you reply. Perhaps do this one day a week to start.

I have found that I am much more helpful to people when I practice this, when I respond as opposed to react.

Forgiveness in the Kingdom of God>>>a non-negotiable.

We should often, daily, reflect on the forgiveness we’ve experienced from YHWH thru Jesus Christ by no possible means of our own. How much wrong we have done to Him, against Him, yet He has graciously provided this great gift of wiping the slate clean so we can be in close relationship with Him.

Our forgiveness of others’ wrongs against us then should flow organically from that fact, letting others off the hook (our own hook) without limit.
